Local Travel Angels Back New Travel Startup

A number of local, Seattle area travel angels have backed a new startup focused on the vacation rental marketplace. TurnKey Vacation Rentals said Wednesday that it has raised $1.5M in funding, for the company's software to help manage vacation rental listings on HomeAway, AirBNB, and other marketplaces, from angels such as Zillow's Rich Barton, Orbitz CEO Barney Harford, Zillow CEO SPencer Rascoff, as well as others. Other investors in the company included Alexis De Belloy (HomeAway, Accel EIR), Robert Hohman (Expedia, CEO Hotwire, Co-Founder Glassdoor), Joey Levin (CEO, IAC Search), Karl Peterson (Co-Founder Hotwire, TPG), Greg Slyngstad (Co-Founder Expedia, Founder VacationSpot, Kayak Board), Gregg Brockway (Co-Founder Hotwire, Co-Founder TripIt, Co-Founder Charish) and Eric Goldreyer (Founder BnB.com).
