Egencia Buys Nordic Travel Firm

Bellevue-based Egencia, the corporate travel management firm which is owned by Expedia, said today that it has acquired VIA Travel, a Nordic travel management firm. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Egencia said the acquisition will help it to offer corporate travel management solutions across the globe. The company said that VIA Travel Group is the largest travel management company in the Nordic countries.
