DISH Network Walks Away From Clearwire

DISH Network said Wednesday afternoon that it is officially walking away from its bid for Kirkland-based Clearwire, and will withdraw its tender offer to acquire all of the shares of Clearwire. The move came after the bid increase by Sprint for Clearwire last week. Sprint had offered $5.00 per share for Clearwire, above DISH Network's $4.40 per share offer.
