Bing Ramps Up Offensive Against Google
Notice a lot of Bing ads on the television this week? Microsoft is ramping up its marketing campaign against Google's search dominance again, saying that it has launched its next wave of its "Bing it On Challenge", the effort which lets users search for different topics in a blind "taste test" pitting Bing against Google. As part of the marketing push, Microsoft said that it will begin offering the challenge at Microsoft Stores, letting users early a $25 off $75 purchase voucher just for trying out the challenge. Microsoft has been looking to convince users to switch to Bing, which it contends provides better results than Google does for their searches.
