Mentor Donates Software To Chinese University
Wilsonville, Oregon-based electronic design automation (EDA) software provider Mentor Graphics is backing a new, educational electronics design laboratory in China, the firm announced this morning. Mentor said it is donating more than $10M in its EDA software and support to the The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). The University is based in Zhejiang province. Mentor frequently donates its software to educational institutions, which allows students to become familiar with the firm's EDA software before they enter the IC design industry.
