Divergent Ventures Backs Caching Software Developer Proximal Data

Seattle-based, early stage venture capital investor Divergent Ventures is the lead investor in a developer of caching software for the virtualized server market. Proximal Data, which is based in San Diego, California, said it has raised $2M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Divergent, and also included prior investor Avalon Ventures. Divergent also is an investor in such firms as SpaceCurve, PistonCloud Computing, and Iron.io. More information »
