GlobeSherpa Lands $1.3M

Portland-based GlobeSherpa, a developer of point-of-sale ticketing and payment software, said Tuesday that it has raised $1.3M in a Series B funding round. The round came from the Oregon Angel Fund (OAF), and comes a year after the firm raised a Series A funding round. GlobeSherpa's mobile ticketing software is aimed at transit services, events, parking, and local destinations, allowing people to avoid having to use ticket machines and meters. The firm's CEO is Nat Parker, who previously was at Element Power. More information »
