Audiogalaxy Acquired By Dropbox

Seattle-based AudioGalaxy, the provider of a service which let users stream their music from the Internet, has been acquired by Dropbox, the company announced Thursday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Audiogalaxy said its team is joining Dropbox, and will begin working on products for Dropbox. As part of the acquisition, Audiogalaxy said it will be shutting down access to Audiogalaxy to new users. Audiogalaxy was founded by Michael Merhej, Tom Kleinpeter, and Viraj Mody.
