Amazon Launches Kindle In Brazil
Amazon.com said today that it has launched its Kindle Store in Brazil, bringing books in Portuguese, and priced in Brazilian Reais, to the country. Amazon said the new Brazil Kindle Store also includes the launch of a new, Portuguese Kindle reading app for Android phones and tablets, iPad, iPhone, PC, and Mac. Seattle-based Amazon said the store includes more than 13,000 Portuguese language books. Amazon said it will also put its Kindle on sale in Brazil in the coming weeks.
