Little Bird Gets $1M

Portland-based Little Bird, the startup headed by former blogger Marshall Kilpatrick, announced today that it has raised $1M in an angel funding round. The round came from Mark Cuban, Howard Lindzon, Dharmesh Shah (Hubspot), Blaine Cook (Twitter), Matt Haughey (MetaFilter), Jonathan Siegel (Accel), Henry Copeland (Blogads), and Jay Baer. Little Bird develops software which helps businesses figure out who influencers are on topics online, and is aiming at Fortune 500 companies. Kilpatrick is known for his work blogging for TechCrunch and ReadWriteWeb. Little Bird was formerly known as Plexus Engine. More information »
