Portland Leads In EV Charging Availability

Portland leads the nation in terms of the number of electric vehicle charging stations per 100,000 residents, according to stats released Wednesday by an EV charging app maker. According to Xatori, which operates PlugShare, a mobile and web app which helps users find and share public and private EV charging station information, Portland has 11.1 public charging stations per 100,000 residents, the most in the nation. Portland beat out such cities as Seattle (6.5 public charging stations/100,000 residents), the San Francisco Bay Area (6.6), and Dallas (10.6) in the rankings.
