Microsoft Updates Logo, After 25 Years

In one of the biggest changes at Redmond-based Microsoft, the company announced the first, logo change for the company in 25 years. The software maker unveiled the logo Thursday, saying it is in the midst of "one of the most significant waves of product launches" in its history. The firm said the logo comes as it will start providing a "common look and feel" across its many products, and marks the beginning of a new era for the company. Microsoft made the switch to the new logo on its website yesterday, at its retail stores in Boston, Seattle, and Bellevue, and said it will be rolling out the new logo at all of its stores in the next few months, in products, and in television ads.
