Firm Headed By Local Technology Vets Power Toyota's Entune

A group of technology veterans from MIcrosoft, Amazon, T-Mobile, At&T, and RealNetworks--who have collected at Tweddle Group Technologies' local operations in Bellevue--are behind the entertainment platform technology for Toyota's EnTune, in-care connected services platform. Tweddle Group, which is based in Michigan, says it has more than 100 engineers at its Bellevue facility working on the products, which allows drivers to search for points of interest, access streaming radio, view traffic, get stock quotes, and more from their vehicle. Tweddle says it has grown its team here by more than 300 percent in less than two years, and is actively recruiting software engineers, Android and iPhone developers, and others at the location.
