Microsoft Wins Toyota

Redmond-based Microsoft Corp. said today that it has been selected by Toyota Motor Corp. to provide its communications and collaboration infrastructure for Toyota's family of global companies. Microsoft said Toyota will be using such products as Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Lync and Windows Server. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Microsoft said it will serve more than 200,000 employees of Toyota worldwide during the next two years.
