PopCap World Record Effort Kicks Off Today
An attempt to set a Guiness World Record by two PopCap game players is kicking off this morning, with the webcast of two users attempting to set the longest videogame marathon playing a card game. A user in London, and a user in Manhattan are both trying to set the record to play PopCap's Solitaire Blitz software. Kathleen Henkel, of Oakland, New Jersey is being webcast from Manhattan, and Laura Rich of Cardiff, Wales is in London. The two are raising money for charity:water, which funds drinking water projects in the developing world.
