Itron Gets Win In Algeria

Liberty Lake, Washington-based Itron, the maker of smart utility meters, has signed up another utility as a customer--in Algeria. Itron said that ENAMC (National Company of Measurement and Control Instruments), will deploy its C&I advanced data collection systems over the next 18 months in the country of Algeria, to manage electricity consumption. Financial impact of the deal was not announced.
