Paul G. Allen Invests $300M More In Brain Institute

Microsoft billionaire Paul G. Allen is investing an additional, $300M in funding towards the Allen Institute for Brain Science, the institute said Wednesday, putting the total invested in the brain research outfit at $500M. According to the group, the funding will go to support the first four years of a 10-year plan to advance new brain research efforts. The institute was launched in 2003 by Paul Allen and $100M in seed funding.
