Redfin Filter Ferrets Out HOA Fees
Looking to help homeowners further ferret our properties, Seattle-based Redfin has rolled out a new features to help filter out properties based on their homeowner's association dues amounts. Anyone who has looked at purchasing a condo or home knows that many properties are part of homeowner's associations, which, surprisingly, can include very high monthly fees for things like common areas, community pools, and landscaping. According to Redfin, the new filter allows users to filter out homes by homeowner's association dues amounts. Redfin said homeowner's fees in its database are as high as $600 a month, a significant amount of money for home buyers looking to afford a new home.
