Redfin Expands To Birmingham, Alabama

Seattle-based online real estate broker Redfin said today that it has launched its services in Birmingham, Alabama, setting up shop in the city with its own Redfin-employed real estate agents. The company--which has been in major expansion mode recently--offers up lower fees, and a large number of online and mobile tools aimed at tech-savvy house hunters. The company also pays its agents by customer satisfaction, rather than by commission.
