Itron Expands Win In Azerbaijan

Liberty Lake, Washington-based Itron, the maker of smart utility meters, reported an expanded win in Azerbaijan. The firm said that it will be providing 400,000 more gas smart payment meters to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), as part of an expansion of a smart meter project. Financial impact of the additional meters was not disclosed. Itron said it had previously installed 250,000 smart payment meters in the country.
