Corbis Buys Product Placement Firm
Seattle-based Corbis, the digital media, photography, and video licensing agency owned by Bill Gates, is buying a product placement firm NMA Group, based in Los Angeles. Terms of the deal have not been announced. The New York Times said the deal is being announced today. NMA helps place products and brands--including Motorola, Baskin Robbins, Microsoft Xbox 360--into television shows and movies.
