Amazon: Help Santa Shop At Amazon.com

Are your kids still going to the mall to sit on Santa's lap? Still using the postal service for those letters to the North Pole? Well, Amazon.com decided this year that Santa Claus needed a little high tech help. Amazon said Wednesday afternoon that it has launched a new app for the Kindle Fire and Apple iPad, which allows kids to set up a list for Santa on their tablet. The Amazon Santa app is free, and allows kids to browse and search for kid-friendly items on Amazon, to create their own "holiday wish list". The app creates a "wish list" which can be shared and viewed by friends and family, and features toys, games, movies, TV shows, books, and other products. Amazon said the app is optimized for the Kindle Fire and iPad tablets, and also includes features like duplicate gift detection and tracking.
