Amazon Instant Video Rolls Out On Wii
Seattle-based Amazon said Monday that it has rolled out access to Amazon Instant Video on the Nintendo Wii. According to Amazon, its new Amazon Instant Video app on Wii provides access to its library of more than 145,000 movies and TV episodes; the app is available on the Wii Shop Channel. Amazon Instant Video has been available since November on the Wii U. Amazon offers up its streaming videos as part of its Amazon Prime subscription service, with content it has licensed from a wide range of studios and others.
