Bing Taps Human Editors For Advice

Acknowledging that algorithms aren't everything, search engine Bing said today that it is tapping the help of human editors, to enhance its search results on certain topics. Bing said that is launching a new effort called Bing Editor's Picks, which will bring "editorially selected sites" to searches. Bing said the list will include a small collection of relevant sites, in certain areas, which will show up in both instant searches or on a special Editor's Pick tab. The editors so far have added search results for things like Food and Drink topics, Finance, Government, Clipart, Music, and other common searches.
