Clarisonic Maker Pacific Bioscience Laboratories Acquired By L'Oreal

Redmond-based Pacific Bioscience Laboratories, the developer of the Clarisonic skin care devices, has been acquired by L'Oreal USA, the firms said Thursday afternoon. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Pacific Bioscience Laboratories Clarisonic was created by David Giuliani and the team which also developed the Sonicare toothbrush. L'Oreal said it will continue to operate Pacific Bioscience Laboratories' Redmond headquarters and manufacturing facility.
