ShopIgniter Names Marketing Chief
Portland-based ShopIgniter, the developer of e-commerce and social commerce software, said Tuesday that it has named Kevin Tate as its Chief Marketing Officer. Tate joins the firm from Dachis Group, where he was Vice President of Business Development. He also has served at StepChange, SaaS Unicru/Kronos and Fort Point Partners. Tate had been at StepChange, which was also based in Portland, when it was acquired by Dachis Group in January of last year. ShopIgniter said that Tate will help the company with positioning and marketing strategy, and to develop new market opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
