ShopIgniter Names Jive's Hersh To Board

Portland-based ShopIgniter said today that it has named Dave Hersh, CEO and Chairman of Jive Software to its board of directors. ShopIgniter, which makes e-commerce software which taps into social media and social networks, said Hersh's social business software experience will help the firm to strengthen its position in the market. Hersh has also served at 4Charity and VIA International. ShopIgniter is backed by Madrona Ventures, and headed by Matt Compton.
