Urbanspoon Tops 1,000 Restaurants For Software

Seattle-based Urbanspoon, the subsidiary of IAC which provides online local restaurant guides, is announcing today that it now has more than 1,000 restaurants using its dining reservations system, Rezbook. The software allows users to better manage reservations and seating, with direct integration into the Urbanspoon web site. Urbanspoon said it is trying to make it cheaper and easier for restaurants to handle online reservations. Urbanspoon is a subsidiary of CityGrid Media, itself a subsidiary of IAC.
