Equinix Plans Third Seattle Data Center
Equinix, a global data center operator based in Silicon Valley, said today that it is investing $60M to build a third data center in Seattle. the firm said the new data center will help to meet demand for its interconnection and data center services in the location. The firm said the new data center will add approximately 51,000 square feet of data center space, with capacity for more than 1,000 cabinets. Equinix said the new center will be located adjacent to its existing, SE2 data center in the Westin Building.
