360networks Acquired By Zayo

Seattle-based 360networks, a provider of fiber bandwidth and telecommunications services, has been acquired by Zayo Group, a Colorado-based fiber network operator, Zayo said Friday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Zayo, the acquisition nearly doubles the size of the company's fiber network, adding over 18,500 route miles to Zayo's existing network. 360networks has connections into over 70 markets in the central and western United States. Zayo said that existing employees of 360networks will become part of the firm with the acquisition.
