BankSimple Gets $10M More

BankSimple, which is developing a new "personal banking" service and has operations in Portland, said last week that it has raised $10M in additional funding. The funding came from IA Ventures, and also included new investor Shasta Ventures. The company also said it has added Visa, The Bancorp Bank, CBW, Allpoint, and Andera as partners of the company. BankSimple's headquarters are in New York. The firm's co-founder and CTO, Alex Payne, is based in Portland. More information »
