Simple Launches Budgeting Tool

Are you someone who needs some help better managing and saving your money? Portland-based Simple, the developer of personalized banking software which was until recently known as BankSimple, announced today that it has launched a brand new feature aimed at helping people make it easier to sock away money for whenever you need it. The startup said its new Goals tool lets users enter an amount, a date, and initial contribution, and will help users automatically save and move money to meet those goals through its tool. The company described the tool as the antithesis of a credit card, allowing users to set aside money daily to meet their financial goals. Simple moved its operations to Portland in August of last year.
