Amazon Buys Pushbutton

Seattle-based Amazon.com has acquired Push Button Holdings Ltd., a UK-based, digital and interactive agency. Pushbutton is the developer of the LOVEFiLM player, and interactive services for IPTV, internet-enabled TV sets, tablets, broadband Internet, satellite, and cable. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. LOVEFiLM is an online application for Sony connected TVs, which allows subscribers to rent movies online and have them streamed to their televisions.
