DocuSign Competitor Acquired By Adobe

The competitive landscape for Seattle-based DocuSign appears to have suddenly become more intense, as one of the firm's main competitors, EchoSign, was acquired by Adobe this morning. Financial details of that deal were not announced, however, Adobe said it would integrate EchoSign's online signature services into its products. DocuSign provides similar, software-as-a-service based electronic signature services, primarily to the real estate market.
