DocuSign Launches Free Electronic Signature Service

Seattle-based DocuSign, the provider of online, electronic signature software and services, said today that it has launched a free edition of its service. The new, free version of the service is aimed at individual users; the firm did not indicate what limits will be placed on those free account users. The announcement comes just a day after DocuSign competitor EchoSign was acquired by Adobe. DocuSign's CEO is Steve King.
