thePlatform Names European Head

Seattle-based thePlatform, the provider of white-label, video publishing tools which is owned by Comcast, said Wednesday that it has named Simon McGrath as its General Manager of Europe. McGrath joins the firm from SeaChange International, and also has previously served at On Demand Group, was involved in ntl Video On Demand, and Lysis SA, among other firms. thePlatform also named Darren Grimstead as its Director of European Sales.
