Coinstar Taps Former Magellan CEO For Board

Bellevue-based Coinstar said today that it has named the former CEO of GPS equipment firm Magellan Corporation to its board. Coinstar said Nelson C. Chan joins its board of directors effective Tuesday. Nelson was CEO of Magellan from December 2006 until August 2008. He has also served at SanDisk, and serves on the boards of Affymetrix and Synaptics.
