Seattle Investors Back Room 77
Room 77, an online hotel search engine based in Silicon Valley, has scored new funding, the firm said today, including a number of high profile Seattle investors. Room 77 said it raised $10.5M in a Series B funding round, which included both Rich Barton (Expedia, Zillow) and Erik Blachford (IAC Travel). The round was led by General Catalyst Partners, and also included PAR Capital Management, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Felicis Ventures. Room 77 provides an online hotel booking engine which includes detailed information and maps on rooms, square footage, bed types, distance from the elevator, and more. Room 77's Chairman is Brad Gerstner, who has links to both Farecast and Zillow. More information »
