Mentor Graphics Launches SPICE Simulation Tool

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, the developer of electronic design automation software, said today that it has launched a new product for electronics simulation. The firm said the new Eldo Premier tool is one of the industry's fastest SPICE simulation solutions. SPICE tools are used by electronics designers to simulate and test electromagnetic effects of circuit designs. Mentor claimed that its new software provides 20X higher performance and 10X better capacity over traditional SPICE software tools.
