Microsoft, athenahealth Link On Health Communications

Redmond-based Microsoft has linked its enterprise health intelligence software, Microsoft Amalga, with web-based practice management firm Athenahealth, the two said this morning. The two said they are in a strategic alliance which will connect Athenahealth's cloud-based services with Microsoft's enterprise software. Financial details of the move were not announced.
