Lockerz Launches Android App

Seattle-based Lockerz, the provider of social commerce services and software which is backed by Liberty Media and Kleiner Perkins, said Friday that it has launched a new mobile application for Android. The firm said it has launched an Android version of Plixi (soon to be renamed Lockerz Photos), which allows users to share photos on their social networking sites. Lockerz bought Plixi on January 27th. Plixi was formerly known as TweetPhoto, and allows users to upload photos and share them via Twitter and other social networking sites.
