Lockerz Shuts The Door On Plixi

Seattle-based social sharing startup Lockerz has finally shut down Plixi, its online social photo sharing service, according to the firm Friday. In January, Lockerz had laid off the team which developed Plixi--originally known as Tweetphoto--as part of a broader layoff by the company. Lockerz had acquired Plixi in January of 2011.
