Redfin Expands To Dallas, Adds Partner Option

Seattle-based real estate site Redfin said Tuesday afternoon that it has expanded into Dallas, it's 15th market, and also launched an effort to connect customers with partners. According to Redfin, Dallas is the fifth new market launched this year, and brings its reach to about 30 percent of Americans. Redfin said its Dallas operations will be run by Jason Aleem. In addition to the new market, Redfin said it has begun offering customers a choice of working with partner agents. Redfin said the ability to refer customers to partners will help them serve listings for less than $200,000, the minimum the site handles with its own agents. Redfin said those partners can afford to handle properties it can't, and still offer a 15% commission refund.
