Isilon Wins Genome Research Institute

Seattle-based Isilon said this week that it has scored a win at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). According to Isilon, the institute is using the firm's product to power its next-generation DNA sequencing operations. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Isilon's products are being used as a part of a Linux compute cluster, and replace a traditional NAS system.
