Isilon Wins Canadian Research Center

Seattle-based Isilon said yesterday that it has added Canadian Light Source, Inc., a research facility in Canada, as a customers. According to Isilon, Canadian Light Source, the national synchrotron research facility of Canada, is using its storage to power research into the properties of materials. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Isilon explained that Canadian light Source is using its products alongside VMware-based virtual servers.
