Amazon To Hire "Thousands" of Temps Over Holidays

Seattle-based Amazon.com announced this morning that it is hiring thousands of temporary positions, in its fulfillment center in Fernley, Nevada, as it gears up for the holidays. According to Amazon, the hiring is for the firm's 2010 holiday season, and include picking, packing, and receiving/shipping positions. Amazon said it is using Integrity Staffing Solutions to locate the temporary help for the company. Fernley is just outside Reno, Nevada.
