Firm Targets Wilsonville For Electric Vehicle Charger Project

Pittsburgh-based industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation said this week that it has chosen Wilsonville, Oregon, as its key site to integrate its Electric Vehicle (EV) DC quick charger for the North American market. According to Eaton, the decision comes due to support from the Oregon Department of Transportation, the City of Wilsonville, Portland General Electric and Business Oregon, the state's business development agency. Eaton said its chargers are slated to be launched later this year. Eaton has an 80,000 square foot facility in Wilsonville, employing 85 people.
