Microsoft Settles Bing Trademark Suit

Microsoft Corp. has settled a trademark suit with design firm Bing Information Design LLC, according to a filing by the firms earlier this week. According to documents filed with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the two have settled the trademark infringement suit. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Microsoft was sued by Bing Information Design in December of 2009, claiming that Microsoft was unfairly using the Bing name for its search engine.
