EMC Isilon Wins Entertainment Firm
EMC's Seattle-based NAS storage division, Isilon, said today that it has signed Corus Entertainment, a Canadian media and entertainment firm, as a customer. According to EMC, Corus has deployed its NAS products in its data center. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Corus owns 37 radio stations, as well as operates specialty, and pay television services. EMC said that the win was part of a consolidation by Corus Entertainment of 11 different IT and engineering operations into a single building.
