TierPoint Gets Funding For Data Center Expansion

Liberty Lake, Washington-basedTierPoint, a data center services provider for the carrier market, reported today that it has landed $8.2M in funding for a "green" data center project. According to the firm, the funding comes in the form of debt from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Evergreen Business Capital, and the Small Business Administration. The firm said the funding will go towards its TierPoint 3 project, a new data center it expects to put online by April of 2011.
